For no real reason yesterday I had this idea that it might be fun to have strangers and friends finish a track I start. Find a free download below of a track I made using a tape loop and the Dave Quam " Quam Kit".
I'm thinking of these as track starters. Add to them and send it back to me.
Not sure what I'll do with this but we'll figure it out later. Keep it fun and keep it easy. Extremely curious to hear what you make!

Recently I bought an electribe 2 for $100 deep in New Jersey. The guy who sold it to me couldnt believe I drove so far to get it and said it was a trash piece of gear. I told him I love to drive and that my favorite kinds of gear are the kind I can afford.
heres the first thing i made messing around with it. its a bouncy track that kind of sounds like an alien daydreaming in a moon glow.

Sometime in 2018 I did a tape trade with a shop in Seoul, Korea called Cosmos Wholesale ran by Park Da-ham and friends. I ended up with 4 incredible cassette mixes from Park Da-ham's label Helicoper Records.
My favorite was called
" 더 스크랩 2018: 박다함 ( THE SCRAP 2018 by Park Da-ham ) " and had a track on it that I couldnt find for a very very very long time.
I played this tape so much that it cracked and warped in my car and ended up sounding better and more interesting.

Todays track is unknown. My friend Meriem gifted me a stack of tapes from Morocco back in (maybe) 2018. Some of them were dusty, mismatched and mostly not in english. This tape " Musique Arabe " came with the wrong cover and is a DJ mix with andalusian el alla samples and 90s r&b scratched in. The whole thing is messy and wild and just pure fun. I love when stuff like this happens. Listen and download below
